I suggest you ...

Allow editors (not just owner) to link with their repository

My colleague created API for our common project. The project is being developed on GitHub and I was added as an editor to Apiary.

The thing is, he is not the owner of the GitHub repository, I am. And I do not have permissions to link the API with the repository.

"You do not have rights to access this page, sorry. You are not owner of this API."

Are you planning on changing these permissions or is there a way to work around this?

Maybe I am doing something wrong.

Best wishes
Filip

        Hi Filip,

The best way to share these permissions with multiple people is to create a team within Apiary and make each person an admin. This requires getting on either our Standard or Pro plan, which both include team functionality. Editors are not considered to be admins of a project within Apiary, which is why they do not have these elevated permissions.

As a side thought, does your colleague have access to the GitHub repository to add it? As owner, if they are part of the repo, they should be able to add it themselves.

        Hope that helps!

        Stephen
