Support generic git repositories
We'd like to store the blueprint in bitbucket, it would be nice if there was support for generic git repositories for that reason.
We definitely plan to provide update API with example hooks.
We are testing the API with selected customers, as one of the blocking parts is tokens infrastructure we are working on.
However, that's unrelated to bitbucket support: for information about it, please see http://support.apiary.io/forums/120125-general/suggestions/3284954-add-bitbucket-support-similar-to-github (and eventually vote :))

Hi, any further update on this? Bitbucket support would be awesome.
+1 We'd love Bitbucket support!
nothing so far, our focus is on Github for Enterprise integration right now.
However, it shouldn't be hard to write those hooks and we'd definitely accept any 3rd party examples as well.
Hi, any update on this?
to clarify: we are currently using github API to fetch our blueprint from github repository, so we never access other data stored in git repo.
This is obviously not workable for generic repository, so we plan to provide "apiary publish <blueprint>" command in our CLI (https://github.com/apiaryio/apiary-client) and build our hook around it.
It is fairly high on our roadmap as it empowers client with custom, more flexible tooling around blueprint build & publishing. We'll keep you posted ;)
